Our experience has shown that the finest seasons are from the beginning of winter to the beginning of monsoon. Therefore, visiting between mid-November and the end of May will be ideal for seeing both migratory and resident species.
Famous pheasants such as Monal, Koklas, Cheer pheasant, Snow partridge, and the winter visitor, Eurasian woodcock, are best seen in the winters to April.

We will see a variety of avifauna as we visit different locations, ranging from the high altitude Tungnath Trek to the low altitude Mandal Valley. Depending on the weather, visitors on a 5N/6D tour are often expected to see and photograph between 100 and 120 species.
