Keoladeo Nation Park has been declared as world heritage by UNESCO, it is also a declared Ramsar Site. It consists of vast wetland area, grassland and scrub forest. During winter times lot of migratory birds comes here and it is also a breeding ground for lot of species. The habitat gives a beautiful misty and foggy frame during winters. Total area of the sanctuary is 29 Sq Km and hundreds of bird species can be found here.
One can directly reach Bharatpur by train or by Road from Jaipur and Delhi. By Road it is 222 Km from Delhi and 194 Km from Jaipur.
This sanctuary remains open throughout the year but best time to visit is winters for migratory birds and Mansson for breeding season of local birds.
Chambal River is around 91 Km from Bharatpur and is excellent place to capture Indian Skimmer along with crocodiles and Gharials. This will be the part of our Bharatpur Birding tour.

Start the day early at 6:30 am and do full day birding in Bharatpur National Park till 6 PM. Then 7:00 Pm to 8:00Pm we do review session. All three days we will focus on getting good action shots of birds, Portrait shots, Fishing shots, Canopy shots, foggy and misty shots, sunrise and sunset shots and also will try to capture Hyna, Jackals, Pythons, Monitor Lizards etc.
Early morning we go to Chambal River and do a boat safari for Skimmers, Gharial, Crocodiles and other birds. After Boat safari we go to outskirts of UP Villages and try for Saras Crane shots in the fields.
At 5 Pm we will start our return journey and drops you at the station.
Lot of waterbirds and raptors can be found in Bharatpur. Some of the expected birds are “Saras Crane”, “Comb Duck”, “Bar-headed Goose”, “Greylag Goose”, “Glossy Ibis”, “Eurasian Spoon Bill”, “Painted Stork”, Great White Pelican”, “Dalmatian Pelican”, Spotted Eagle”, “Imperial Eagle”, “Dusky Eagle Owl”, “Collared Scops Owl”, “Nightjar”, “Norther Pintail”, “Indian Spot bill”, “Common Teal”, “Oriental Darter”, “Great Cormorant”, “Common Coot”, “Wryneck”, Red breasted Flycatcher”, “Blue Throat”, “Mash Harrier”, “Pheasant-tailed Jacana”, “Bronze-winged Jacana”, “Ruddy Shell Duck”, “Black Bittern”, “Black-tailed Godwit”, “Blue Tailed Bee-eater”, “ Green Bee-eater”, “Wire-tailed swallow”, “Indian Skimmers”.
